The last few weeks have been crazy busy. In a good way! I don’t think my little camera (Natasha) has snapped so many pictures in a a month’s time before. It was wonderful. Weddings, engagements, models, editorials, etc. It seems like I was doing it all. I can’t wait to finally get caught up and show you wonderful supporters everything.

Not only that, but friends over at Queerty have featured some of my pictures (which went kinda super awesome sauce viral). It is always wonderful when someone wants to feature your images.

Well, some of us never really grow out of that.

The cool ones don’t at least.

Who is to say that age should stop us from sleeping in late, watching some cartoons, reading some comic books, playing with action figures, enjoying a good video game. Who is to say you can’t enjoy those Saturday mornings you did as a kid.

No one.

So go ahead.

Like Jay here. A gifted music producers and DJ. Hailing from Atlanta he decided to make Los Angeles his home just recently.

I have officially nicknamed him Mr. PurrdyCakes.

We had such a great session. It was awesome to get in so many different looks and styles in a decently quickly session.

Also, he agreed to let me cover his hands in black paint. That is pretty awesome.

I actually love to blog. I love showing you guys what I am working on and why I am excited to show you some images.

But, as I said, it’s been crazy.

A fantastic crazy. 

I had a shoot everyday this week. Sometimes even twice in a day. I don’t think that has ever happened to me before.

And I am oh so happy.

Because I’ve been getting some incredible images.

He had always sent such nice messages of support and mentioned he was a fan of my work. So when he came to Los Angeles, he booked me for a quick session. He told me he didn’t want anything normal… and gave me some creative control. In his newest project, we wanted a way to preserve his anonymity.

Sooooo we found a little box to help us.

But, as the project progressed he mentioned that it not only hid his identity, but the box also symbolized the fact that he often feels like others expect him to stay within the confines of the box they put him in.

It was kinda awesome.

And the shoot was insanely fun.

I would write more, but I am going to let you decide what the pictures mean. I’m sure he would love interpretations.

Allison – freaking – Holker

After a session, a photographer has to go through the photos and pick out the best from the bunch. But, what do you do when almost every single image blows your mind? This is how I felt with Allison’s session, I just couldn’t get enough. Every single image click impressed me.

She just blew me away.

So forgive me for not caring when I share a ton of images.

Allison has an incredible energy. Even before we started she was running around and showing emotional range that most photographers can only dream about. We actually shot a couple of looks that day (which will be on the blog later), but as soon as I saw this dress on the couch I knew it was going to be my favorite.

I really wish that I could post every single image from the last hour of our session, but I know that isn’t possible. Trust me though, you will not be disappointed once you start scrolling. They are stunning. Simply Stunning. It was an incredible collaboration and I cannot wait to work with her again.

Plus, she went into the middle of traffic for me.
