Let’s take a break from Southeast Asia for a minute.
and go to South America.
I’ve traveled all over the world, but there are only a few places where I’ve been like “I NEED TO GO THERE.” Most of the time I am just going with the flow and end up at amazing locations. Not this time.
When I was planning our trip around all of South America, the only place I knew we had to go to was Machu Picchu. It was on my list. That list a whole bunch of us made of things we wanted to do before we died. On my list was to see the sunrise at Macchu Picchu.
When I saw it, I almost cried.
There are no words or pictures that would ever capture the beauty of that place. nothing.
You truly have to go and see it for yourself.
I remember taking the train from Aguas Calientes (the closest town to M.P.) back to Cusco, looking up at the stars and smiling the whole train ride back.
